Looking for meaningful work where you can make a difference every day? Open Arms Solutions is hiring compassionate, dependable In-Home Caregivers to support seniors throughout Downtown Chicago and surrounding neighborhoods.
Help older adults remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes while building rewarding relationships with clients and their families.
What You'll Do
- Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
- Provide companionship and meaningful social interaction
- Prepare meals and encourage hydration
- Provide medication reminders
- Help with light housekeeping and laundry
- Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and activities as needed
- Observe and report changes in clients' condition
- Complete basic care documentation
Where You'll Work
Care opportunities may be available in:
- Downtown Chicago and The Loop
- River North, Streeterville, and Gold Coast
- West Loop and South Loop
- Near North Side and Near West Side
- Lincoln Park and Lakeview
- Other nearby Chicago neighborhoods
Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to clients' homes are important for this position.
What We're Looking For
- At least 1 year of professional caregiving experience within the past 2 years
- Valid driver's license or state ID
- Reliable transportation to client locations
- Smartphone for communication and care documentation
- Ability to complete required background screening
- Dependability, compassion, and a professional approach to client care
