You will provide hands-on commercial leadership across the full project lifecycle, from pursuit and contract formation through to project execution and close-out. Working with our Bid & Proposal teams and Project Leaders, you will provide contract governance and strategic commercial advice, supporting sound commercial positions, margin, cash flow, risk management and customer outcomes while safeguarding Worley’s contractual and commercial interests.

This role would suit an experienced commercial leader who has worked within professional services or engineering project environments, preferably with exposure to the energy or resources sectors.

What you’ll do:

- Provide commercial leadership and advice across pursuits, proposals, contract formation and project delivery.
- Support commercial strategy for bids, including contract reviews, risk allocation, pricing strategy and commercial positions.
- Support contract negotiations, approvals and the effective transition of commercial commitments from bid to delivery.
- Lead the administration and governance of customer contracts through project and portfolio delivery.
- Brief project teams on contractual obligations, deliverables, notice requirements, time bars and key commercial risks.
- Develop and implement commercial strategies that protect margin and project performance while supporting customer outcomes.
- Manage change, variations, claims, notices and contractual entitlement opportunities.
- Prepare and coordinate contractual correspondence, commercial submissions, reports and formal notices.
- Work with Project Controls and Finance to monitor revenue, costs, gross margin, cash flow, forecasting and overall financial performance.
- Provide commercial advice on third-party contracts, contract compliance, negotiations and disputes.
- Maintain appropriate commercial records and governance, and lead or mentor project commercial resources where required.

What you’ll bring:

- Relevant experience in commercial management, contract administration or a related project commercial role.

- A university degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline is desirable, including Construction Law, Quantity Surveying, Commerce or Business Administration.
- Experience supporting bids, commercial reviews, contract negotiation and contract formation, together with post-award contract management.
- Strong understanding of contract risk, obligations, notice regimes, time bars, change, variations and contractual entitlement.
- Understanding of project pricing, cost structures, revenue, gross margin, forecasting, profitability and cash-flow management.
- Strong commercial judgement and negotiation skills, with the ability to balance contract protection, risk and delivery outcomes.
- Strong written communication skills, including contractual correspondence, commercial submissions and reports.
- Confidence engaging with bid and project leaders, customers and internal stakeholders at working and senior levels.
- A pragmatic, solutions-focused approach, strong commercial discipline and the ability to operate autonomously within established frameworks.
- A strong commitment to health, safety and responsible project delivery.

Why you should apply:

We welcome expressions of interest from commercial and contracts professionals across a range of experience levels and industry sectors. You may be an established Commercial Manager looking to broaden your exposure across both pursuits and project delivery, or an experienced Senior Commercial Manager capable of providing strategic commercial leadership across major projects and portfolios. The scope and level of each opportunity will be aligned with your experience, capability and the requirements of the business.
