Axyde Analytics, LLC is hiring on behalf of a client for a prospective Navy warehouse support contract in Hampton Roads, Virginia.
One additional position in each exercised option year | Zero base-year hours; 1,920 hours in each option year if exercised
Location: Hampton Roads and designated military installations; assignment depends on the exercised option and final allocation.
Hourly base pay range: $28–$32. Final pay within this range depends on relevant qualifications and assigned duties. Benefits and other employment terms will be specified in the client-approved offer. The range excludes any separately required fringe benefits and overtime.
The opportunity
This is a future option-year talent pipeline. There are no base-year hours for this additional role. Employment requires contract award, funding, exercise of the applicable option, client selection and qualification verification. Timing is not confirmed.
Responsibilities
Provide additional local pickup, delivery and material-movement capacity during the exercised option period.
Inspect vehicles and secure, transport and document palletized freight safely.
Coordinate routes, delivery timing and receiving access with the warehouse and Government sites.
Maintain vehicle, fuel, maintenance and shipment records and report incidents promptly.
Support approved loading, unloading, inventory movement and transition transport.
Required qualifications
High school diploma or GED and one year of professional experience operating open-bed or enclosed-bed medium-duty trucks, including proper load securing for over-the-road transport.
Maintain all licenses, endorsements, medical qualifications and operator authorizations required for the assigned vehicle and cargo. This is an option-year pipeline role, not a base-year opening.
Secret clearance is required at contract award. Interim Secret is permitted at award if final clearance is obtained within 180 days, unless the contracting officer authorizes an extension. Required clearance and access approvals must be in place before classified tasks.
Perform the essential duties safely, with reasonable accommodation where applicable, and complete required safety, security, privacy and environmental training.
Preferred experience
Military logistics delivery, medium-duty truck operation and Government property accountability.
