Your Impact
As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of enterprise-grade applications. You will be responsible for driving end-to-end testing activities, developing robust test strategies, building automation frameworks, and delivering high-quality software solutions that enhance customer experience and product excellence.
What the role offers
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive manual and automated test plans and test cases.
- Build and maintain automation frameworks and scripts to improve test efficiency and coverage.
- Perform API testing for REST and SOAP services and validate system integrations.
- Execute automated regression testing and document detailed test results and reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment to ensure timely and high-quality releases.
- Work with enterprise systems, databases, virtual machines, and web server environments to validate complex business applications.
- Contribute to performance, security, and accessibility testing initiatives while continuously improving testing processes and methodologies.
What you need to succeed
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
- 3+ years of software testing experience in enterprise product environments.
- Strong hands-on experience in manual and automated testing.
- Expertise in test planning, test script development, execution, and reporting.
- Strong knowledge of API testing using REST and SOAP services.
- Good understanding of SQL Server and Oracle databases.
- Experience with automation tools such as Selenium and/or QTP.
- Familiarity with BDD tools like Cucumber or JBehave.
- Knowledge of web servers such as IIS and Tomcat.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Exposure to VMware virtual machines, performance testing, and security testing is highly desirable.
- Exposure to Java, Java-based web technologies, JavaScript, VBScript, content management systems, or OpenText products will be an added advantage.
