About this role
About the Role
As our Email & Campaign Specialist, you'll take full ownership of how we communicate with our guests from planning to execution. You'll turn a mix of commercial inputs (promotions, brand partner activations, seasonal moments, loyalty pushes) into one clear, relevant plan and translate this into campaigns that convert and feel premium across email, push notifications, mobile wallet passes, and Whatsapp/ sms.
You'll shape the requirements for n email templates to brief the creative team and build email campaigns in Salesforce, while feeding the Copywriter and designer with learnings and best practices to keep copy and design converting, fashionable, and on-brand. Campaign performance isn't just something you report on: you'll use it to spot trends and opportunities that shape what comes next.
You'll run this end to end, with real autonomy. Reporting into the Communication & Content Manager to secure 360° communication channels. Sitting within the Marketing team, you'll partner closely with the Loyalty Coordinator and the Content & Comms team, bringing sharp, guest-relevant messaging to every big moment on the calendar, from seasonal sales to brand launches. It's a role for someone who blends commercial instinct with creative and analytical thinking — because the best campaigns need all three.
What you'll do
- Plan, build, and execute email and campaign communications end-to-end across different channels: from brief to send, in close partnership with the Content & Comms team to ensure consistency of messaging across all channels
- Plan, build, and optimise behaviour-triggered flows alongside one-off campaigns, including welcome, birthday, lapsing, opt-in to member, and RFM flows
- Bring together a wide range of inputs (promotions, brand partner activations, seasonal moments, loyalty initiatives, events) into one coherent, relevant CRM and multi-channel plan
- Segment and target campaigns so communications feel personally relevant to each guest to drive maximal Village Footfall
- Partner closely with the Loyalty Coordinator, Copywriter, and Content & Comms Manager to align campaign activity with loyalty, membership, private client, and channel-consistency goals
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Retail, and Partnerships to keep the campaign calendar aligned with commercial priorities and trading moments (sales periods, peak season, brand launches), with final campaign sign-off by the Communication Manager
- Define campaign success and KPIs per segment where relevant, monitor and report on performance (open rates, CTR, conversion, revenue impact), and use those insights to steer targeting, content, and future campaign direction
- Ensure data-driven decision-making while maintaining brand integrity and guest-centricity
- Manage the email/CRM platform, ensuring campaigns are executed accurately, on time, and to a high creative standard across every channel
- Develop mobile wallet pass journeys and WhatApp/ SMS touchpoints that feel timely and relevant- particularly for high-value moments such as sale alerts, event reminders and loyalty milestones
- Stay close to fashion and retail trends to keep messaging commercially sharp and on-brand
What we’re looking for
- 3+ years of experience in email marketing / campaign management, ideally within fashion, retail, or lifestyle brands or agency experience - exposure to acquisition, retention, and conversion optimisation campaigns
- A commercial mindset: you understand that a campaign's job is ultimately to sell and drive footfall/spend, not just to go out on schedule
- Proven experience in a fast-paced environment, comfortable adapting quickly as priorities and trading moments shift
- Demonstrated ability to synthesise multiple, sometimes competing messages into one coherent, relevant plan per guest segment
- Hands-on experience with an email/CRM platform (Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience is a strong plus), and confidence using other relevant tools such as Power BI to translate data into actionable campaign insights, Figma,…
- Strong sense of fashion and retail relevance: an instinct for what feels premium, current, and on-brand
- Comfortable working independently: able to take a brief and run with it without close oversight, while still being someone who enjoys the execution, not just the strategy
- Flexible, adaptable, self-motivated: genuinely energised by a role that's operational and fast-moving
- Understanding of email automation, segmentation, and personalization strategy
- Show adaptability and agility & handle complexity (tactful assertive)
