Real Estate Services manages HSBC’s global property portfolio. Responsibilities:

- The Global Chief Operating Office (GCOO) organisation comprises a set of outcome focused services, owned end to end. The ambitious roadmap and structure aim to make GCOO a leading and innovative global service organisation.

- The role reports to the Market COO; Market SVP Real Estate Services (RES) is the functional lead to set strategy, budget objectives & provide governance and oversight to this role in collaboration with the Market COO.

- The role will provide governance and oversight to RES activities delivered for the market, including Workplace Experience Services (Facilities Management, Property and Asset Management, Workplace Management & Transformation,); Future of Work Transformation, and Health and Safety as well as ESG/Sustainable Operations.

- The role holder will support managing the expansion of RES related utilities

- The role is required to work in collaboration with the market RES team to align with market RES strategy

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

- University qualification in real estate related subject and/or business, finance.

- A comprehensive understanding of a broad range of Real Estate activities and issues faced by large corporates.

- A thorough understanding of the local property markets and practices.

- Comprehensive understanding of how large banks operate, key challenges faced in the operating environment.

- Skills and expertise in financial analysis and planning for property.

- Ability to grasp, understand and independently handle new and existing projects and ideas.

- Ability to work independently, interact with senior professionals within the Bank and service providers and have the ability to make recommendations on the appropriate course of action over a wide spectrum of real estate.

- Ability to navigate the RES function through change in the organization both strategically and operationally.
