Shift: 1st Shift | M–TH 6:30 AM – 3:45 PM | Friday 6:30 AM – 11:30 AM (Early Friday Exit)

Pay Rate: $20.00 / hour

Position Overview

PrideStaff is currently seeking a mechanically inclined, detail-oriented Entry-Level Machine Operator & Assembler for a growing manufacturing facility in the Bond Hill area.

This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with their hands, operating equipment, and building precision products. Prior bindery or specialty printing experience is NOT required —we are looking for individuals with strong mechanical aptitude, solid math/measurement skills, and a proven work ethic. Comprehensive, hands-on training will be provided!

### Primary Responsibilities:
Assist with bookbinding, printing, assembly, and finishing operations. Operate production tools, machinery, and equipment after proper training. Measure, cut, assemble, and inspect materials accurately. Read a ruler and follow job specifications, measurements, and written instructions. Perform basic math calculations related to production quantities and measurements. Inspect completed products to ensure they meet quality standards. Package, lift, move, and organize materials and finished products. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. Perform minor equipment adjustments and basic troubleshooting. Solve routine production problems independently after completing initial training. Work with team members to complete jobs accurately and on schedule. Perform other production-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Mechanically inclined and comfortable with hands-on projects, such as changing a car's oil, installing a ceiling fan, replacing an outdoor light fixture, or completing minor remodeling projects. Printing and/or bookbinding experience is helpful but not required. Ability to accurately read a ruler and perform basic high school-level math. Ability to safely lift and move objects weighing up to 40 pounds. Dependable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a positive attitude. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. Good attention to detail and a commitment to quality. Ability to work independently and solve problems after completing initial training.
