The cook is responsible for the preparation and presentation of attractive, nutritious meals for residents in the Upper Deck, Independent Living services, and special functions. The cook is responsible for the maintenance of sanitary conditions in the production area, the handling of food using Serv-Safe standards, and the proper storage of food according to departmental policies.

- Proven cooking experience, including experience as a line chef, restaurant cook or prep cook
- Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
- Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
- Familiar with industrys best practices
- Culinary school diploma is a plus
- Ability to work well with a team
