Audit Intern

Pattillo, Brown & Hill, L.L.P. is looking for driven, detail-focused Audit Interns to join our Firm. As an intern, you’ll gain meaningful, hands-on experience alongside a team of experienced professionals, supporting audits for clients in local government, nonprofit, and a range of industries. This internship is ideal for students seeking a future in public accounting who want to develop their technical skills while contributing to impactful work.
What You’ll Do:
Assist with audit procedures, including internal control walk-throughs, analytics, and substantive testing
Work alongside audit teams on a variety of engagements under the guidance of managers and senior staff
Gain exposure to audit tools, software, and professional workpapers
Participate in firm training and professional development opportunities
Uphold PB&H’s commitment to integrity, client service, and professionalism
What We’re Looking For:
Current enrollment in a college-level Accounting program
Availability to work 30+ hours per week for 12+ weeks starting in September (flexible around academic schedules)
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and communication abilities
Eagerness to learn and thrive in a team-oriented environment
Ability to travel is preferred but not required
