Tax Intern

Pattillo, Brown & Hill, L.L.P. is seeking motivated, high-performing individuals to join our tax internship program in Waco. As a Tax Intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience across key areas of public accounting, including federal and state tax return preparation, client service, compliance, and more. This is an excellent opportunity to expand your technical skills and learn from experienced professionals in a supportive, collaborative environment.
What You’ll Do:
Assist with the preparation of federal and state tax returns
Support tax teams with compliance work and client communications
Gain exposure to various aspects of tax accounting and industry best practices
Work within tax software and professional workpapers
Participate in training and development opportunities throughout the internship
What We’re Looking For:
Currently enrolled in a college-level Accounting program
Available to work 30+ hours per week for 4 to 12 weeks starting in February (schedule flexible based on academic commitments and workload)
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and communication abilities
Eager to learn, proactive, and ready to work in a fast-paced team environment
