About this role
We are looking for a motivated Head of Legalities to join our legal seeking an experienced and skilled qualified Lawyer. The successful candidate will represent the company before judicial and arbitral bodies, manage disputes, reviewing and drafting contracts, and willing to support the legal function with high-quality drafting and sound legal advice in bilingual formats.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent the company before courts, arbitration panels, and regulatory bodies.
- Manage and pursue disputes, including debt collection and the enforcement of judgments and arbitral awards.
- Draft lawsuit statements, legal memoranda, legal opinions, contracts, MOUs, and board resolutions.
- Advise on corporate procedures and ensure that legal matters are handled in line with them.
- Familiar with corporate procedures before the governmental entities (GAFI and FRA).
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) English section is a plus.
- Having a Master's degree or professional legal diploma is a plus.
- Admission before Courts of First Instance or Appellate courts.
- 5 to 7 years of experience in litigation.
- Proven experience drafting lawsuit statements, legal memoranda, and contracts.
- Strong track record managing and winning disputes, including debt collection and enforcement proceedings.
- Prior experience in the financial services, banking, or non-bank financial institutions (NBFI) sector is a plus.
- Familiar with corporate procedures.
- Strong drafting skills across contracts, MOUs, legal opinions, and board resolutions.
- Experience representing the company before courts, arbitration panels, or regulatory bodies.
- Experience with debt collection and awards enforcement procedures.
- Excellent command of Arabic and English (written and spoken).
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
