Are you an electrical troubleshooting expert? Do you enjoy solving complex equipment problems, working with PLCs, and keeping industrial machinery running?

Greif is looking for skilled, motivated, and dependable Electrician Technicians at Levels 1–4 to join our maintenance team!

Whether you're growing your electrical expertise or you're the go-to expert for complex electrical systems, we have an opportunity for YOU!

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

- Troubleshoot, diagnose, maintain, and repair industrial electrical equipment.
- Work with PLCs, motor controls, drives, electrical panels, and automated systems.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
- Perform electrical repairs, component replacements, and preventive maintenance.
- Identify equipment failures and restore operations safely and efficiently.
- Support equipment reliability, continuous improvement, and production efficiency.
- Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to minimize downtime.

FOUR SKILL LEVELS — ONE GREAT OPPORTUNITY!

Electrician Technician I – Electrical Troubleshooter

- Perform routine electrical maintenance and repairs with supervision.
- Troubleshoot basic electrical components and equipment issues.
- Read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Connect to common plant PLCs and demonstrate basic programming knowledge.

Electrician Technician II – Independent Electrical Specialist

- Independently diagnose and repair common electrical problems.
- Troubleshoot electrical controls, motors, and equipment.
- Read electrical prints and replace faulty components.
- Connect to PLCs and drives and program operating parameters.

Electrician Technician III – Advanced Controls Technician

- Diagnose complex electrical and controls-related issues.
- Connect to and program most plant PLC systems.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting across industrial equipment.
- Provide technical support and guidance to other electricians.

Electrician Technician IV – Master Electrical Expert

- Serve as the go-to expert for advanced electrical and controls troubleshooting.
- Diagnose and resolve major equipment breakdowns.
- Connect to, troubleshoot, and program all plant PLC systems.
- Lead complex electrical repairs and provide high-level technical support.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

- Industrial electrical maintenance and troubleshooting experience.
- Knowledge of PLCs, motor controls, drives, and electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with electrical repairs and industrial automation.
- A safety-first mindset and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Compensation Range:
The pay for this position is $37.58 per hour. The position may also be eligible for a short-term incentive.
