- Monitor and analyze macroeconomic and regional factors (e.g., house price index, employment growth, demographic, occupational shifts, and economic conditions) through review of industry publications, economic reports, and relevant news sources to assess their impact on lending portfolio risk and tiering assumptions.

- Identify variances, anomalous trends, early warning indicators, or signs of portfolio drift, perform root cause analysis, and escalate findings through established Credit Risk channels.

- Lead periodic review and validation of lending tiers and segmentation methodologies, including recommending tier upgrades/downgrades based on analytical insights and observed risk outcomes.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Governance Support

- Provide independent challenge and recommend tiering updates (including upgrades/downgrades) where appropriate to ensure alignment with Risk appetite and governance expectations.

- Act as a Risk point of contact for analytical inquiries related to lending portfolios and tiering.

- Contribute documentation and analysis required for internal reviews, audits, or regulatory requests related to lending portfolio risk and governance.

Continuous Improvement & AI Enablement

- Identify opportunities to improve analytical processes, controls, and data quality related to lending portfolio analytics.

- Support automation, standardization, and reporting enhancements, including the use of AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot Studio.

- Design, build, and maintain agentic workflows and automations using Microsoft Copilot Studio and Power Automate to streamline repetitive analytical, reporting, and data-quality tasks and improve the scalability of lending portfolio analytics.

- Apply emerging AI and automation capabilities responsibly, ensuring alignment with the Bank's risk, governance, data, and model risk controls.

- Contribute to broader risk transformation initiatives that strengthen analytical capability and scalability across the Risk function.
