Position purpose
The Fire Inspector-Part time is a civilian position with no hazardous duty responsibilities. The employee, under direction from the Division Captain of Fire Prevention conducts fire/life safety inspections for all occupancy types. The employee is responsible for assisting the Fire Prevention Division with routine filing and other tasks as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Kentucky Certified Fire Inspector.
- 3 years of experience conducting fire and life safety inspections.
- Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
- Experience with Microsoft Office.
- Experience in using iOS or Android operating systems in tablet and mobile formats.
- Must possess a valid motor vehicle operators license prior to operating any vehicle owned by the Anchorage Middletown Fire and EMS. The license must be a full operators license. Instructional or temporary learning permits do not meet this requirement.
