About this role

Interested in building a rewarding career in product marketing at one of Canada’s fastest-growing tech companies?

Then Jobber might be the place for you! We’re looking for a Principal Product Marketing Manager, Fintech New Bets to be part of our growing Product Marketing team.

Jobber exists to help people in small businesses be successful. We work with small home service businesses, like your local plumbers, painters, and landscapers, to transform the way service is delivered through technology. With Jobber they can quote, schedule, invoice, and collect payments from their customers while providing an easy and professional customer experience. Running a small business today isn’t like it used to be - the way we consume and deliver service is changing rapidly, technology is evolving, and customers expect more. That’s why we put the power and flexibility in their hands to run their businesses how, where, and when they want!

Our culture of transparency, inclusivity, collaboration, and innovation has been recognized by Great Place to Work, Canada’s Most Admired Corporate Cultures, and more. Jobber has also been named on the Globe and Mail’s Canada’s Top Growing Companies list, and Deloitte Canada’s Technology Fast 50™, Enterprise Fast 15, and Technology Fast 500™ lists. With an Executive team that has over thirty years of industry experience of leading the way, we’ve come a long way from our first customer in 2011 - but we’ve just scratched the surface of what we want to accomplish for our customers .

The team:

At Jobber, we’re not just building software - we’re helping home services businesses accelerate revenue growth, improve profitability, and maintain a healthy cash flow. Our Fintech team is central to this mission - for example, enabling businesses to get paid faster, secure the capital needed for growth, and gain clarity on their financial health.

The future of financial services is embedded, and we’re still early in this transformation. More and more, small businesses will rely on vertical SaaS platforms like Jobber - not just to run their operations, but as their financial hub.

Fintech is one of the fastest-growing parts of Jobber, and a core strategic priority for us as a company. We're investing in this area because we believe embedding financial tools within our product deepens our ability to help small businesses be successful.

Reporting to our Fintech Marketing Group Lead, this Principal role owns product marketing and go-to-market strategy for Jobber’s Fintech new bets - including Jobber Capital , Bookkeeping , and the next wave of financial products coming to our portfolio. You’ll be the domain expert who takes these businesses from early signal to scaled, revenue-generating lines. You’ll set the strategy, lead its execution end to end, and build and support the commercial plan with the Product and Finance teams. This is a career-defining opportunity to build new financial products into category-leading businesses in one of the largest remaining B2B markets - and to help small businesses succeed while you’re doing it.

The Principal Product Marketing Manager will:

- Own product marketing and GTM strategy: Define the ICP, positioning, value proposition and messaging for Fintech new bets, including Capital, Bookkeeping and emerging products. Build launch and channel strategies that drive adoption and growth.
- Lead cross-functional GTM execution: Build integrated plans across lifecycle, in-product, web, Sales, Customer Success and partner channels. Align owners, timelines, audiences and messaging, and coordinate execution and post-launch optimization.
- Be the voice of the customer: Lead research with customers, prospects and partners to understand financial workflows, needs and purchase barriers. Translate insights into GTM decisions and recommendations for Product and Commercial.
- Test, measure and scale what works: Partner with Product and Commercial on proposition tests, beta and early-access programs. Define GTM success measures with Analytics, evaluate results and recommend what to refine, expand or stop.
- Partner on monetization and risk: Bring customer and market insight to pricing, packaging and promotional decisions with Commercial, Product and Finance. Work with Risk, Legal, Compliance and capital partners to ensure messaging accurately explains eligibility, terms and product benefits.
- Influence and lead across Jobber: Communicate GTM recommendations clearly, align senior stakeholders and channel teams around shared outcomes, and mentor other PMMs to strengthen product marketing across the Fintech portfolio.
- Key partnerships: Product Management, Commercial, Marketing, Finance, Analytics, Sales, Customer Success, Risk, Legal & Compliance, and external capital partners.

To be successful, you should have:

- Extensive experience in B2B SaaS or fintech marketing, including deep Product Marketing experience, with a track record of owning product marketing and GTM strategy and being accountable for adoption and revenue outcomes.
- Proven success launching new products or businesses, establishing product-market fit, and scaling them into significant revenue streams.
- Experience marketing financial products (e.g., lending or capital, bookkeeping or accounting, payments, banking), including working within regulatory and compliance constraints.
- Strong commercial acumen: you’re comfortable building business cases, sizing markets, modelling pricing and unit economics, and making investment trade-offs.
- Deep analytical skills - you turn ambiguous data into insights, and insights into decisions and action.
- Comfort operating in unfamiliar territory, with the courage to act in high-risk, high-impact, uncertain situations and set direction where none exists yet.
- Exceptional communication and influence - trusted by senior leadership, and able to align cross-functional teams around a shared outcome without direct authority.
- A leader within the team: you mentor others, seek and give candid feedback, and model collaboration across Jobber.
- Bonus: Experience marketing to SMB or home service audiences, or in embedded finance on a vertical SaaS platform

- A unique opportunity to build, grow, and leave your impact on a $400-billion industry that has no dominant player...yet.
- To work with a group of people who are humble, supportive, and give a sh*t about our customers.

We welcome people of diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. We are an equal opportunity employer, and we are committed to working with applicants requesting accommodation at any stage of the hiring process.
