Interim Controller
Location: Glen Allen, VA | Hybrid
Pay Rate: $90–$110/hour
Contract: Approximately 2–3 months
Cherry Bekaert Recruiting & Staffing is seeking an experienced Interim Controller to provide hands-on accounting leadership during a transition and upcoming audit period.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and month-end close
- Manage general ledger, reconciliations, AP, and AR
- Support multi-entity consolidation and financial reporting
- Lead and support the accounting team
- Assist with audit preparation and work with external auditors
- Partner closely with the CFO and other departments
Qualifications
- Previous Controller or senior-level accounting leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP
- Experience with multi-entity accounting and financial close
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- ERP experience; NetSuite is a plus
- Ability to work onsite in Glen Allen 2–3 days per week and full-time onsite during the audit period
