At Bechtel, extraordinary work happens every day across our projects, offices, and teams around the world. Behind that work are the people who make it all possible. We're looking for a communications leader who can tell their stories, engage and inspire audiences across our global organization, and help our Finance and Bechtel Business Services leaders communicate with clarity and impact. Bechtel is looking for a Manager of Finance & Business Services Communications to lead internal and external communications for our Finance and Bechtel Business Services (BBS) organizations.

In this role, you'll partner with Bechtel's Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and senior leaders to shape executive communications, engage employees, and communicate the priorities and accomplishments of these critical enterprise functions. Working closely with Corporate Affairs & Marketing (CA&M) colleagues and stakeholders across the enterprise, you'll help connect the work of Finance and BBS teams to Bechtel's broader priorities and bring important stories to life. We're looking for an experienced communicator with strong business acumen, exceptional writing skills, and sound judgment. Someone who can earn the trust of senior executives, handle sensitive information with discretion, and translate complex financial and operational topics into clear, compelling communications. You'll bring both strategic thinking and a hands-on approach, with the confidence to advise leaders — and the drive to deliver. Bechtel is a values-driven culture. The right candidate will have a "one team" mentality and be ready to jump in and maximize communication efforts across the enterprise. Are you bold enough to build what’s next? - Advise senior executives. Serve as a trusted communications partner to the CFO and Finance/BBS leadership, providing strategic counsel on communications opportunities while developing executive remarks, presentations, talking points, town halls, and other high-visibility materials.
- Drive employee engagement. Lead communications that connect Finance and BBS employees to leadership priorities, organizational developments, including town halls, leadership meetings, employee updates, and enterprise campaigns.
- Communicate major initiatives and change. Lead communications for organizational changes, business initiatives, policy updates, and other high-impact announcements.
- Tell the Finance and BBS story. Identify and develop stories that showcase the expertise, innovation, accomplishments, and people behind these functions, partnering with CA&M editorial, digital, and creative teams to reach internal and external audiences.
- Elevate external visibility. Identify and support opportunities for CFO thought leadership, speaking engagements, industry forums, media engagement, and other external communications.
- Manage communications planning and performance. Own the communications calendar, oversee priority deliverables, track engagement and results, and use insights and AI-enabled tools to continuously improve content and workflows.

## Education and Experience Requirements:

- Requires a bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field and 8-10  years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree.
- Must have the right to work in the U.S.

## Required Knowledge and Skills:

Functional:

- Proven experience developing and executing integrated communications plans for senior executives, business functions, or complex organizations.
- Strong executive communications experience, including advising senior leaders and developing speeches, presentations, talking points, and other high-visibility materials.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex financial, operational, and business topics into clear, engaging communications.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of corporate finance, business operations, and enterprise priorities is preferred.
- Experience leading employee engagement, organizational change, and internal communications initiatives.
