EPM Consultant, Senior (Financial Planning & Performance Management)

We are seeking a highly motivated Techno-Functional Specialist with experience in Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) solutions to join our consulting team. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of functional finance expertise and technical skills to support the implementation, configuration, integration, and optimization of EPM solutions, primarily focusing on Infor EPM . The role involves working closely with customers to understand business requirements, design solutions, deliver implementations, conduct user training, and provide post-go-live support.

A Typical Day in the Life Includes:

- Participate in the implementation, configuration, enhancement, and support of Infor EPM solutions.
- Gather and analyze business requirements related to budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, reporting, and consolidations.
- Design and configure EPM solutions to meet customer business needs and industry best practices.
- Develop and enhance customizations, business rules, and automation scripts using Groovy, Python, or Jython.
- Create solution designs, functional specifications, technical documentation, and user guides.
- Support integrations between EPM and ERP/source systems.
- Conduct CRPs, UAT sessions, end-user training, and go-live activities.
- Troubleshoot application issues and provide effective solutions within defined service levels.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive successful project delivery.
- Leverage AI/GenAI technologies to improve productivity, automation, and customer outcomes.
- Stay current with evolving EPM technologies and industry trends.

Basic Qualifications:

- 4-6 years of experience implementing, configuring, and supporting Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) solutions such as Infor EPM, Oracle EPM, OneStream, Anaplan , or similar platforms.
- Strong functional understanding of Budgeting, Forecasting, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Financial Consolidation, Reporting, and Financial Close Management processes.
- Proven experience translating business requirements into scalable EPM solutions and providing techno-functional consulting support.
- Hands-on experience with Groovy, Python, or Jython for business rule development, process automation, and application enhancements.
- Good working knowledge of SQL, Oracle, and database technologies , including data validation, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Experience designing and supporting integrations between EPM, ERP, and other enterprise applications.
- Ability to develop solution designs, functional specifications, technical documentation, and user training materials.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to perform cross-functional process analysis and recommend effective solutions.
- Experience participating in the complete project lifecycle including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, UAT, training, go-live, and post-production support .
- Exposure to GenAI tools and AI-assisted productivity solutions is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with global stakeholders, customers, and cross-functional teams in a consulting environment.
- Strong communication, presentation, and customer-facing skills with a continuous learning mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience working with Cloud-based EPM platforms.
- Exposure to ERP applications and Finance transformation initiatives.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies.
- Practical understanding and usage of GenAI tools in business or consulting environments.
- Experience conducting customer workshops, training sessions, and executive presentations.
