About this role
Head of Funds - Wealth & Investment
We’re looking for an experienced and commercially minded Head of Funds to join Isio’s growing Wealth & Investment business.
This is a senior growth hire with the opportunity to help shape and lead our approach to funds across public and private markets. Sitting at the intersection of investment capability, product and distribution, you’ll play a key role in determining where we focus, how we take our propositions to market and how we build sustainable growth.
The role combines strategic leadership with a strong commercial and business development focus. You’ll work across our Wealth business to identify market opportunities, develop our funds proposition and lead sales activity, with particular focus on the opportunities emerging across private markets.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll take a lead role in developing and growing our funds proposition, including:
- Shaping the strategy for our funds offering across public and private markets.
- Identifying and prioritising attractive markets and distribution opportunities.
- Leading business development and sales activity for the proposition.
- Helping develop investment solutions that draw on Isio’s wider investment expertise and capabilities.
- Working closely with colleagues across Wealth to ensure our funds proposition complements and strengthens our existing client offering.
- Bringing together investment, commercial and distribution thinking to create propositions that are compelling to clients and scalable for the future.
- Helping establish the appropriate governance, due diligence and oversight required to support a high-quality funds proposition.
What we’re looking for
This is an opportunity for someone who combines deep investment market knowledge with genuine commercial capability.
You’re likely to bring:
- Strong experience within asset management, investment management, wealth management or a closely related environment.
- A strong understanding of funds and fund distribution, ideally spanning public and private markets.
- Demonstrable experience of business development, distribution or building commercially successful investment propositions.
- A good understanding of how institutional investment capabilities can be translated into solutions for different client markets.
- Strong knowledge of the investment landscape, with the credibility to engage senior stakeholders, investment professionals and prospective clients.
- The ability to identify market opportunities and turn strategy into commercial action.
- The confidence and leadership required to build something new while working collaboratively across an established wider investment business.
Experience of private markets, fund structuring and/or taking new investment propositions to market would be particularly valuable.
Why this opportunity?
This isn’t a role focused simply on maintaining an established fund range. It offers the opportunity to help build and shape the next stage of Isio’s Wealth proposition.
Following the acquisition of AI-driven investment manager Collidr, Isio has significantly strengthened its technology and model portfolio capabilities, supporting our ambition to scale our presence in the wealth advisory market. Alongside this, the launch of the WS Isio Unitised Fund Range provides a strong framework for delivering tailored, multi-asset solutions across public and private investment markets.
You’ll be joining a business with established institutional investment expertise and growing wealth capabilities, with the opportunity to bring those strengths together into a differentiated funds proposition across public and private markets.
For the right person, it offers genuine scope to influence the strategy, shape the proposition and lead its commercial growth.
