This is a high-impact opportunity for an experienced Executive Assistant to provide trusted, proactive support to the CEO of our Retail Division. You’ll keep priorities moving by managing a complex diary and inbox, coordinating meetings, governance activity and travel, and tracking key actions through to completion. Acting with discretion, sound judgement and exceptional attention to detail, you’ll build strong relationships across the business and help the CEO focus on what matters most.

What you’ll do

- Proactively manage the CEO’s diary, inbox and priorities.
- Coordinate executive, Board and committee meetings, including papers, logistics and follow-up.
- Maintain governance calendars and track actions, commitments and deadlines through to completion.
- Produce clear dashboards and timely updates, highlighting priorities, risks and overdue actions.
- Arrange domestic and international travel, itineraries and supporting documentation.
- Manage expenses, corporate card reconciliation and accurate administrative records.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, acting as a trusted first point of contact.
- Handle confidential information with discretion and maintain secure, compliant records.
- Support compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, GDPR and health and safety obligations.

What we’re looking for

- Extensive experience in an Executive Assistant, PA or similar senior support role.
- Exceptional organisation, prioritisation and time-management skills.
- A proactive, self-motivated approach, with the ability to anticipate needs and work independently.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, with confidence engaging at all levels.
- Strong attention to detail and sound judgement, including knowing when to escalate.
- High levels of integrity, professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information.
- Strong Microsoft Office and systems skills, including Word, Outlook and Excel.
- A good understanding of how complex organisations operate.
- Insurance or reinsurance experience and knowledge of relevant regulation would be advantageous.
