About this role
Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
- Observe and promptly report changes in residents’ conditions to nursing staff or supervisors.
- Provide companionship, encouragement, and emotional support.
- Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and light housekeeping as needed.
- Take and record vital signs as assigned and within the scope of your training.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment.
- Follow individualized care plans and program policies and procedures.
- Respect residents’ dignity, privacy, personal preferences, and independence.
- Communicate professionally with residents, families, and care team members.
Qualifications:
- Current New Jersey CNA or CHHA certification required.
- Previous healthcare, senior living, or caregiving experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A compassionate, patient, and dependable approach to resident care.
- Ability to work independently and cooperatively as part of a team.
Shifts:
- All shifts available.
- Weekend availability required.
