Position Summary
The Room Attendant I is responsible for maintaining guest rooms and designated hotel areas to the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and comfort. This role plays an essential part in ensuring every guest enjoys a positive and memorable stay.

Key Responsibilities
Guest Room Cleaning & Preparation
- Clean and service assigned guest rooms according to hotel and brand standards.
- Change bed linens in checkout rooms and stayover rooms based on guest preferences and hotel procedures.
- Clean, sanitize, and restock guest bathrooms.
- Replace used amenities, towels, linens, and other guest supplies.
- Dust furniture, fixtures, and room surfaces.
- Vacuum carpets and maintain overall room appearance and cleanliness.
Housekeeping Operations
- Restock guest room supplies and housekeeping inventory.
- Ensure housekeeping carts remain organized, clean, and fully stocked.
- Maintain linen closets and storage areas in an orderly and efficient manner.
- Properly handle and store cleaning products and equipment.
Guest Service & Hospitality
- Provide courteous and professional service when interacting with guests.
- Respond promptly to guest requests and special needs.
- Help create a welcoming environment through attention to detail and exceptional service.
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure all assigned rooms meet company, hotel, and brand cleanliness standards.
- Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, and lost-and-found items according to hotel procedures.
- Follow all safety policies and housekeeping procedures.
- Assist with additional housekeeping and hotel duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping, hospitality, hotel, or cleaning experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts based on hotel occupancy.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stretch, and reach throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull housekeeping equipment and supplies.
- Ability to perform repetitive cleaning tasks while maintaining quality standards.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly.
