What You’ll Do
- Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and other beverages consistently and efficiently
- Provide friendly, attentive service and recommend beverages based on guest preferences
- Follow recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines
- Verify identification and follow responsible alcohol service procedures
- Accurately enter orders, process payments, and handle cash
- Keep the bar clean, organized, stocked, and ready for service
- Monitor inventory and communicate replenishment needs
- Complete opening, closing, and cleaning duties
- Follow health, sanitation, and vessel safety procedures
- Work closely with servers and crew to ensure smooth service
What You Bring
- Previous bartending experience in a restaurant, hotel, catering, or event setting
- Knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine
- Friendly, guest-focused attitude and professional presentation
- Strong teamwork, communication, and multitasking skills
- Ability to maintain accuracy and composure during busy service
- Comfort working aboard a moving vessel
- Ability to carry items up to 50 lbs and navigate stairs safely
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods in indoor and outdoor conditions
- Availability for evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts as needed
- Ability to work 2–5 hour cruises, with occasional shifts up to 12 hours
- Willingness to complete required alcohol service training
