Medstar is growing, and we're looking for exceptional EMTs and Paramedics to join our team at our newly opened Detroit station!
Medstar provides 911 emergency response services to more communities in Southeast Michigan than any other EMS provider, and our critical care, air medical, and interfacility transport partnerships continue to expand throughout the region.
Our new Detroit station is an exciting part of that growth! Team members will support 911 rescue operations in the Grosse Pointe communities and Harper Woods, along with new emergency response contracts as we expand. The station also supports Interfacility Transport (IFT) and Critical Care Transport (CCT) services for our partner health systems, providing a variety of experiences and opportunities to grow your EMS career.

Paramedic Requirements:
- State of Michigan Paramedic License
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
- Physically able to perform the functions of the job (physical agility and lifting)
- American Heart Association CPR and ACLS Certification
EMT Requirements:
- Michigan EMT license
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Physically able to perform essential job functions
- Current AHA CPR certification
