APU Quality Trainee

Job Summary**

The APU Quality Trainee will support the Quality department within a specific Autonomous Production Unit (APU) to ensure products meet defined quality standards and customer requirements. This role offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in quality control, process improvement, and problem-solving within an automotive manufacturing environment.

Job Responsibilities**

* Assist in monitoring product quality throughout the production process, from incoming materials to final product inspection.
* Support the implementation and maintenance of quality control plans and procedures within the APU.
* Participate in root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action initiatives for quality non-conformities.
* Collect and analyze quality data, preparing reports and presentations on key quality indicators.
* Collaborate with production, engineering, and logistics teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
* Support internal and external audits to ensure compliance with quality management systems (e.g., IATF 16949).
* Contribute to continuous improvement projects aimed at enhancing product quality and reducing defects.
* Assist in training production personnel on quality standards and best practices.
* Document quality processes and procedures accurately.

Job Qualifications**

* Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Industrial, Quality), Manufacturing, or a related technical field.
* Basic understanding of quality management principles and tools (e.g., 8D, FMEA, SPC) is a plus.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
* Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality.
* Fluency in English is required; knowledge of other languages is a plus.
