About this role
We’re looking for a Technical Product Manager to join a high-visibility engagement with one of our clients. This isn’t just an advisory or requirements-gathering role. You’ll work alongside the client’s Data Management team to learn how product and data actually move, from a marketing request through to a live in-person experience. Then you’ll build the tools that take the friction out of it.
This is a senior, hands-on individual contributor role. On any given day, you might be shadowing a Data Manager, mapping a workflow, talking through a data model with an engineer, or opening an IDE to ship a working prototype. The strongest candidates are GenAI builders first, with enough product and process instinct to know what’s worth building.
What You'll Do
Discover and Redesign
- Work alongside Data Managers to understand how the work really happens, across intake, product authoring, handoffs, validation and publishing
- Map workflows, systems and dependencies, set baseline measures like time-per-task, and identify where the biggest gains are
- Challenge legacy processes and propose redesigned workflows, working through the right stakeholders to get them adopted
Build
- Decide whether a problem calls for process change, automation, an integration, a purpose-built app or AI, and then build it
- Independently build lightweight production applications, APIs, integrations and automation, using AI-assisted development tools without losing engineering discipline
- Get prototypes into users’ hands quickly, gather feedback and improve sprint by sprint
- Partner with the client’s engineers on larger builds while staying accountable for the product, architecture and outcome
Apply AI Where It Earns Its Place
- Extend an existing AI-based product authoring capability to support more product types
- Build practical AI tools such as authoring assistants, validation and anomaly checks, and workflow agents, with the right controls for data quality and human review
- Recognize when a deterministic solution or a process fix is the better answer
Shape the Data Foundation
- Help define the domain model for product and experience data
- Replace spreadsheet-based tracking with a structured, queryable system that downstream platforms can draw from through API
- Make sure what you build is documented, maintainable, and ready to hand over
What You'll Bring
- 8+ years across software development, solutions architecture, technical product management or similar, with a track record of building and shipping tools yourself
- Hands-on experience building applications, APIs and integrations. You don’t need to be a career software engineer, but you do need to be able to build robust solutions on your own
- Practical experience developing LLM applications or agentic workflows
- Strong data modeling and SQL skills
- Experience working directly with end users to map processes and drive adoption across teams
- Consulting or client-facing experience is a plus
- Experience with product, menu, catalog or master data (PIM/MDM) is a strong plus
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems) or equivalent demonstrable experience
