About this role

Overview

Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. As employees we come together with a growth mindset, innovate to empower others, and collaborate to realize our shared goals. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.

Microsoft’s software supply chain depends on controls that span every step—from code and build through signing, scanning, vaulting, distribution, and licensing. The Trust and Secure Services (TSS) portfolio provides critical end-to-end assurance. Centralized code signing establishes a verifiable chain of trust, while malware and vulnerability scanning enforce policy gates and help prevent compromised artifacts from reaching customers. Secure vaulting and controlled distribution protect validated content, and a unified publishing pipeline keeps controls consistent across endpoints and clouds. Content protection, licensing, and activation enforce entitlements at runtime, protecting customers and Microsoft intellectual property. Together, TSS services help keep the software supply chain intact, traceable, and resilient to evolving threats.

As a Business Operations Program Manager on the Trust and Secure Services team, you will own programs and processes that protect Microsoft products and services throughout the digital supply chain. You will apply technical understanding and program management skills to create clarity and deliver results that meet business and customer needs. At Microsoft, our mission—to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more—guides how we partner with customers to deliver trusted, impactful solutions. With a growth mindset culture, we innovate responsibly and measure success by shared progress for people, teams, and customers. Join us to do meaningful work that changes the world and helps shape what’s next for everyone.

Responsibilities

Serve as a primary point of contact for operational requests, providing timely guidance to internal partners, resolving inquiries, and escalating issues appropriately.

Review submissions and supporting documentation before approval or execution, identify potential risks early, and coordinate resolution with the appropriate stakeholders.

Maintain accurate, current program documentation and knowledge resources; share learnings and request feedback to improve the support experience.

Partner with business and engineering teams to assess new customer or partner requests, clarify readiness and requirements, and establish next steps.

Maintain knowledge of program architecture, security requirements, and relevant platform or policy changes through internal documentation and training.

Coordinate secure provisioning, storage, maintenance, rotation, and retirement of keys, certificates, and other protected assets in accordance with security policies.

Manage identity groups, access controls, and time-bound access policies for protected resources, supporting least-privilege access and compliance.

Provide clear, consistent stakeholder updates on service events, asset resets, key or certificate rotations, revocations, and other operational changes.

Participate in regular service reviews and cross-functional meetings, raising current issues, upcoming changes, decisions, and dependencies.

Collaborate with partner teams to streamline workflows, mitigate incidents, clearly document improvements, and share repeatable practices.

Partner with 3rd party marketplaces owned by Google, Apple, etc. to understand enhancements in security or compliance requirements

Qualifications

Required/minimum qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field AND 2+ years experience in program management, process management, or process improvement OR equivalent experience.

Other Requirements

Candidates must be able to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.
