Do you love to help people solve problems? To make sure that critical business tools run smoothly? To proactively engage with clients, and help them to understand how they can work more productively with technology? To shape the roadmap for tech within large organisations?

Our managed services team help the biggest organisations in our region to get the most out of the latest Microsoft modern work technologies. We support clients using Microsoft Viva, Office 365, SharePoint Online, Teams, Power Platform and Copilot - with a range of reactive and proactive support offerings.

Our teamwork hand in hand with our experienced consultants and our talented team of developers in Australia, NZ, Japan and SE Asia to fix problems, improve resiliency, deliver training, provide advice, and build solutions.

Engage Squared is an award-winning, fast-growing company that believes in great workplace culture and investing in our people. Using modern work technologies, we can free employees from the friction of inefficient business processes, and fill gaps in knowledge or support from their team, leaders, and leadership, so that they are empowered to be productive.

We have offices across Australia, NZ, Japan, and Indonesia. This role is open to anyone located in the Melbourne

We pride ourselves on being a fun, innovative and collaborative organisation that practices what we preach and delivers great customer results.

About the role

We're looking for a People & Culture Coordinator who loves the operational side of HR, takes pride in getting the details right and enjoys finding better ways to do things.

You'll join our small, experienced P&C team, supporting the day-to-day people operations of a growing international business.

Let's be upfront. This is a hands-on, administration-heavy role to begin with. We have plenty of operational work to get through, and we're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys HR coordination, can take ownership of the details and help keep things running smoothly.

But there's a genuine opportunity to help us change how that work gets done.

We're investing in our P&C systems, simplifying processes and introducing more automation and employee self-service. We want someone who can help us manage the work today while contributing ideas and improvements that will make our function more efficient as we grow.

You'll have the opportunity to build your experience, contribute to P&C initiatives and help shape how the role evolves over time.

What you'll do

- Coordinate employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding, employment changes and offboarding.
- Prepare employment contracts, letters and other HR documentation accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain employee records and HR systems, ensuring our people data is accurate and up to date.
- Manage routine P&C enquiries, providing helpful and timely support to employees and leaders.
- Support recruitment coordination, pre-employment checks and new starter arrangements.
- Assist with payroll-related administration, reporting and compliance activities.
- Coordinate learning and development activities and support broader P&C projects.
- Help improve how we use Employment Hero, Microsoft 365 and other tools to manage our people processes.
- Identify opportunities to simplify administration, improve self-service and automate repetitive tasks.

What you'll bring

- Around 2+ years' experience in a dedicated HR or People & Culture coordination role.
- Practical experience managing HR administration, employee lifecycle processes and employment documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to organise your workload and manage competing priorities.
- Confidence using HR systems and Microsoft 365. Experience with Employment Hero would be an advantage.
- Great communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships.
- Sound judgement, discretion and an understanding of the importance of confidentiality.
- A proactive approach, with the confidence to take ownership, solve problems and follow things through.
- An interest in technology, process improvement and finding smarter ways of working.

You don't need to be an expert in automation or process improvement. We're looking for someone who's curious, willing to learn and comfortable asking, "Could we do this better?"

Most importantly, you'll enjoy the coordination side of HR. You'll understand that getting the fundamentals right makes a real difference to the employee experience, and you'll take pride in making that happen.

What you'll get

- A supportive, collaborative team with experienced P&C professionals who are invested in your development.
- Exposure to a broad range of HR activities across a growing international business.
- Opportunities for professional development and career growth.
- The chance to contribute to improvements in our systems, processes and employee experience.
- A flexible working environment that supports work-life balance.
- The opportunity to work for an award-winning technology consultancy that genuinely values its people.

We know this role will evolve as we improve our systems and ways of working. You'll have the opportunity to be involved in that evolution, while developing your own skills and experience along the way.
