About this role
"Job Purpose: To operate and monitor granulation equipment in accordance with approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety requirements, and production schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operate granulation equipment and associated machinery as per approved batch manufacturing records and SOPs.
2. Verify equipment cleanliness, line clearance, equipment status labels, and readiness before starting operations.
3. Check and verify raw materials, dispensing details, batch numbers, and material quantities before processing.
4. Monitor critical process parameters such as mixing time, binder addition, impeller speed, chopper speed, and granulation endpoint, as applicable.
5. Record all process activities, observations, and parameters accurately in batch records and equipment logbooks.
6. Coordinate with Production, Quality Assurance (QA), and Quality Control (QC) teams for sampling, in-process checks, and process-related issues.
7. Follow gowning, personal hygiene, contamination prevention, and material handling requirements.
8. Report deviations, equipment abnormalities, spills, and safety incidents to the supervisor immediately.
9. Perform routine cleaning and support preventive maintenance activities as assigned.
10. Ensure compliance with GMP, data integrity, EHS requirements, and housekeeping standards.
Qualifications and Skills: ITI, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in a relevant technical field; pharmaceutical manufacturing experience preferred; knowledge of GMP, SOPs, batch documentation, and equipment operation.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Batch compliance, right-first-time documentation, production output, equipment utilization, deviation reduction, and adherence to safety and quality standards."
