Design Coordinator (Architect)
Experience: 12-15 Years
Industry: Industrial, Manufacturing, Semiconductor, Pharma Projects
Position Summary
The Design Coordinator (Architect) will be responsible for managing and coordinating architectural design deliverables across industrial and manufacturing facility projects. The role will act as the key interface between clients, consultants, engineers, and project teams to ensure seamless integration of architectural requirements with engineering disciplines.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate architectural design activities from concept through construction.
- Manage multidisciplinary design interfaces involving architecture, structural, mechanical, electrical, process, and utilities teams.
- Review design drawings, BIM models, and consultant submissions.
- Ensure compliance with project requirements, building codes, regulatory approvals, and client standards.
- Facilitate design review workshops and stakeholder coordination meetings.
- Track design deliverables, design changes, RFIs, and approvals.
- Support value engineering and constructability reviews.
- Ensure timely closure of design issues impacting project schedules.
- Collaborate with construction teams for site implementation support.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture.
Experience Requirements
- 12-15 years of architectural design and coordination experience.
- Strong background in industrial, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, or mission-critical facilities.
- Experience working in EPC/EPCM or integrated project delivery environments.
- Knowledge of BIM and digital design coordination processes.
