Job Summary
As a Platform Engineer, you will serve as the technical execution and operational owner for a specific identity security product pillar's representation, enablement, and execution across our global technical sales motion.
This role sits within the Technical Solutions Center of Excellence and is responsible for defining key use cases and managing the technical readiness of our scaled demo and evaluation environments. You will partner closely with Product Management, Product Marketing, Technical Marketing, and GTM Strategy teams.
The Platform Engineer ensures that product strategy translates into high-quality, scalable, and repeatable technical execution across live demos, customer evaluations, and new product releases. This is a senior individual contributor role requiring deep product expertise, strong systems engineering thinking, and significant hands-on technical execution—specifically bridging the gap between DevOps practices, cloud infrastructure, and technical sales engineering.
Your Impact
- Demo Engineering & Cloud Infrastructure: Architect, build, and maintain scalable, cloud-native demo environments, use-case flows, and value framing for the product pillar. Ensure seamless product representation within shared cloud lab environments via heavy hands-on contribution to infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and automated provisioning pipelines.
- DevOps & Solution Building: Act as a core technical builder, applying DevOps methodologies to create robust, automated, and ephemeral evaluation environments that simulate complex, real-world customer architectures.
- Technical Evaluation Architecture: Define technical evaluation use cases, success criteria, and best practices. Continuously update evaluation guidance and automation scripts as the product evolves, ensuring alignment with modern enterprise technology stacks.
- Release Readiness & Field Enablement: Serve as the technical lead for new product releases within the assigned pillar. Partner with Product and Marketing teams to ensure the field has the technical tools, automation scripts, and stable cloud environments needed to demonstrate new capabilities effectively at scale.
- Analytics, Insights & Continuous Improvement: Monitor the health and adoption of shared technical environments. Identify execution gaps, environment instability, or technical friction, and drive corrective action through code refactoring, pipeline improvements, or infrastructure optimization.
