About this role
We are hiring a Clinical Affairs Lead who knows clinical evaluation under MDR inside out, and who wants to bring that expertise in-house at a fast-growing AI company in healthcare.
Our Mission
Healthcare is facing a quiet crisis: doctors and nurses are spending more time fighting with keyboards than treating patients. At Attendi, we’re building a medical AI copilot to give them their time back. Our tools handle the heavy clinical documentation - from live ambient transcription to structured report writing - so doctors can look at their patients, not their screens.
With an aging population, the pressure on healthcare is scaling faster than the workforce. We believe intelligent technology should step up and carry the administrative weight, and we need team members who want to build systems that solve real-world human burnout.
Your Role
As Clinical Affairs Lead at Attendi, you will:
- Own the clinical evaluation of the Attendi App: literature searches, clinical evaluation plans and reports (CEP/CER).
- Translate our MDR roadmap into concrete research questions, study protocols and evidence strategies.
- Design and run studies, from surveys and usability-related studies to clinical investigations and PMCF activities, including preparing submissions for ethical review.
- Help define how we collect data in the app, so we can gather clinical evidence efficiently.
- Analyse study data and statistics and write clear, well-founded reports.
- Work closely with our Clinical Product Owner, compliance team and product team.
- Be a point of contact for our notified body on clinical topics.
- Work with care organisations and external partners when setting up studies.
Requirements
You might be a good fit if you hit most or all of the following:
- A university master’s degree, for example in health sciences or Technical Medicine. A PhD is a plus.
- 3 to 6 years of experience in clinical affairs at a medtech, digital health, CRO or notified body.
- Hands-on MDR experience: you have written a CER under MDR, carried out a clinical investigation or PMCF study including ethical review, and worked directly with a notified body.
- You know how to balance extensive research with a pragmatic approach.
- You can translate complex standards and regulations into what’s concretely needed for a study or report.
- You’re comfortable moving forward with 80% of the input, without losing accuracy.
- Fluent in English, written and spoken.
Strong candidates may also
- Have experience with Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) or AI.
- Be familiar with nursing classifications such as Omaha or NANDA.
- Have experience in elderly care or disability care.
- Have worked at a smaller MDR-certified company, where you were close to the product.
- Have a background in study design or biostatistics.
What we offer
- Salary between €4,500 and €6,000 per month, plus holiday allowance.
- Ideally 32h per week.
- Hybrid working: 50/50 office and working from home.
- Travel and lunch allowance.
- Home office budget.
- Lease bike.
- Training budget of €1,500 per year.
- Company MacBook.
- ClassPass membership.
- Pension contribution of 10% and roughly 7% paid by Attendi.
Our culture: People-oriented, curious, and proactive
At Attendi, you’ll work in a small, ambitious team that learns and builds together. We are empathetic, take initiative, dare to experiment, and stand by our work. Making mistakes is okay as long as you learn from them.
