The Global Industrial Engineering organization is seeking a Senior Industrial Engineer to support manufacturing optimization, capacity planning, advanced analytics, and digital transformation initiatives across onsemi's global manufacturing network. This position plays a key role in developing analytical solutions, capacity models, and decision-support tools that improve factory performance, resource utilization, and operational effectiveness.
The successful candidate will work closely with Manufacturing Operations, Supply Chain, Planning, and Engineering teams to drive data-driven decision making and continuous improvement initiatives across multiple manufacturing sites.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Manufacturing Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- Experience in manufacturing analytics, capacity planning, and optimization.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytics tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Semiconductor manufacturing experience preferred.
- Knowledge of queuing theory and manufacturing flow analysis.
- Wafer fabrication (Wafer Fab) experience preferred.
- Experience with capacity modeling, simulation, and operational research techniques is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a global manufacturing environment.
- Experience developing dashboards, automated reporting solutions, and data-driven decision support tools preferred.
