About the Role
ADF Engineering is seeking a full-time Mid-Senior Structural Engineer to join our growing team in Dayton, OH . This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated engineer who thrives on variety and enjoys working on challenging projects that span multiple industries.

What You'll Be Doing
As a structural engineer at ADF, you'll work closely with other engineers and designers to develop creative, efficient, and safe structural designs for a wide range of industrial projects. You'll have direct interaction with clients and play an active role in seeing projects through from concept to completion. Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing, analyzing, and modeling structural systems using advanced CAD and FEA tools
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and clients to solve engineering challenges
- Reviewing and developing structural drawings, specifications, and reports
- Ensuring compliance with engineering standards, building codes, and best practices
- Contributing to project planning, estimating, and scheduling efforts
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in structural engineering
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Experience using finite element analysis software
- Proficiency with CAD software and structural modeling tools
- Background in reviewing and producing engineering drawings
- Experience in industrial settings such as agribusiness, pharmaceuticals, or biofuels
- Prior experience in a consulting engineering role
