About this role

Description

Amazon Worldwide Grocery Stores (WWGS) Finance is seeking a Senior Product Manager to join our FinTech Product Team. In this role, you will own the end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) product lifecycle, serving as the central product authority for procurement process design, system integration, stakeholder alignment, and continuous improvement across all P2P platforms and tools. You will bridge business users and development teams, translating complex procurement workflows into clear product requirements that drive operational efficiency across the organization.

A significant focus of this role will be on the WWGS Coupa platform, which serves as a core P2P system; however, the scope extends to all procure-to-pay functions and integrations including upstream sourcing, downstream financial systems, and cross-platform data flows. You will partner with Indirect Procurement, Accounts Payable, Finance, and Supplier Management teams to develop and execute a product roadmap that optimizes requisition-to-payment workflows, strengthens compliance and audit readiness, and delivers measurable business value.

Key job responsibilities
- Own the P2P product vision and roadmap across all procurement platforms, ensuring development plans align with and support stakeholder business objectives across Procurement, AP, and Finance
- Develop longer-term (12+ month) strategic plans for the P2P technology ecosystem, identifying opportunities to leverage new platform capabilities, integrations, and automation across Coupa and adjacent systems
- Partner with business leadership to develop business cases for new or enhanced P2P solutions with supporting documentation, gain stakeholder approval, and acquire necessary resources
- Translate business intent, customer needs, and technical direction into clear, well-documented business requirements and product backlog for the P2P application suite
- Define and manage user stories, acceptance criteria, and sprint priorities in close collaboration with development teams
- Lead the build-out of new P2P capabilities and enhancements to existing functionality, including requisitions, purchase orders, approvals, receiving, invoicing, and payment workflows
- Oversee Coupa configuration including approval routing, workflow automation, supplier portal management, and catalog maintenance
- Drive integration design and maintenance between P2P platforms and downstream/upstream systems (e.g., Workday Financials, ERP modules, supplier networks)
- Manage implementation, hypercare periods, and user adoption initiatives for P2P system changes
- Provide incident response and resolution for P2P system outages, bugs, and escalated procurement issues
- Ensure P2P processes and system configurations meet internal audit requirements, financial controls, and compliance standards
- Provide inputs to financial models (TCO, ROI) for procurement technology initiatives; assist budget owners in translating to quarterly forecasts
- Design and maintain reporting dashboards to monitor procurement KPIs, spend analytics, and process health metrics across all P2P systems
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and maintain comprehensive system documentation
