Selrico Services Inc. is seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at the Bexar County Jail location in San Antonio, TX. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper maintenance and repair of facility equipment and infrastructure to support the safe and efficient operation of the jail.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions or breakdowns in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Collaborate with facility management to schedule and prioritize maintenance tasks.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies while performing maintenance work.
- Assist with emergency repairs as needed to ensure uninterrupted facility operation.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician or similar role.
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing.
- Ability to read technical manuals and blueprints.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work flexible hours if required.
- Valid driver's license preferred.
- Must pass a background check.
