About the Role
Wego’s AI & Automation team builds LLM-powered agents and intelligent automation used across Finance, Flights, Hotels, Marketing, HR, Payments, and Operations. You will design, build, and run these solutions end to end, from process discovery to production.
Key Responsibilities
- Build production-grade AI agents and multi-agent workflows using LLMs, tool calling, RAG, memory, and guardrails.
- Design and operate MCP servers that securely expose enterprise systems and data to AI agents, with proper auth and access control.
- Own agent quality through evaluations, observability, and cost and model routing strategies.
- Deliver enterprise automation across finance, payments, supplier, and reporting workflows, combining AI with deterministic logic.
- Integrate with ERP (NetSuite), GDS, payment gateways, and SaaS platforms via APIs.
- Deploy and run services on cloud infrastructure with CI/CD, monitoring, and evidence-based incident resolution.
- Partner with business stakeholders to identify opportunities, define requirements, and measure impact.
- Mentor engineers and contribute to code reviews and engineering standards.
Requirements
- 5 to 8 years in building automation workflows, software engineering and with 2+ years building LLM and agent-based solutions in production.
- Strong Python and software design fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience with Claude, OpenAI, or similar LLMs, and agent frameworks such as Claude Agent SDK or LangGraph.
- Knowledge of open-source agent harnesses such as Hermes and OpenClaw.
- Practical experience building or integrating MCP servers.
- Proven delivery of enterprise automation (Python, RPA, or workflow platforms).
- Experience with AWS or Google Cloud, Docker, Git, and GitHub Actions.
- Strong SQL, API integration, and debugging skills.
