Job Description
Good knowledge of Electrical Maintenance of equipment, utilities, Electrical installation & panels, operation, setting and repairing/maintenance of plant electrical system, instruments and machines.
Key Roles/Responsibilities:

- To work as a group leader and responsible for providing immediate engineering support for utilities and electrical maintenance.

·     To handle the shift operation of the utility of utilities and complete related documentation as required by SOP.

·     To ensure efficient and uninterrupted operation maintenance and upkeep of utilities and plant equipment.

·     To perform maintenance and upkeep of Diesel Generating sets and substations.

·     To develop skill and efficiency as per the company requirements.

·     To develop new electricians for maintenance and troubleshooting of machines, systems, panels and electrical installation.

·     To ensure no stoppage of machines and utilities due to non-availability of manpower and electrical breakdown.

- To allocates workmen for different maintenance jobs on shift-to-shift basis.
- To ensure no stoppage of machines and utilities due to non-availability of man power and electrical breakdown.
- To perform Preventive and breakdown maintenance activity as per SOP.
- To comply with various regulatory, safety and statutory requirements pertaining to engineering activities.
- To monitors and reports the unauthorized movement of workmen from job/workplace and ensure discipline. Takes up the responsibilities of the immediate supervisor for the section in his absence.
- To create purchase requisitions in SAP system.
- To keep awareness of operational standards (ISO 14001, ISO 45001 & 13485).
- To follow the regulations of various agencies (USFDA, EU, TGA, MHRA, ANVISA, WHO, Schedule M etc.).
- To participate in qualification & requalification of machine/equipment and functional support for calibration activity.
- To active participation in DMS, OE and EHS activities and engagement in the process.
- To execute project and area renovation works.
- Identify area of energy conservation and take measures for efficient utilization of energy.
- To keep Engineering Manager informed of maintenance activities.
