Meet the Team
Join Cisco Meraki’s engineering team building the next generation of cloud-managed IT. You’ll help evolve the Meraki Dashboard and AI Assistant, combining full-stack development with Generative AI and Agentic AI to create intuitive, intelligent experiences for customers managing millions of network devices worldwide.
Your Impact
- Build and scale AI Assistant features using Generative AI and Agentic AI workflows.
- Develop full-stack tools that enable customers to configure and monitor network infrastructure.
- Partner with engineers, product managers, and UX designers to deliver AI-powered solutions to real-world IT challenges.
- Own projects end-to-end, from concept and prototyping through production.
- Solve complex scalability, performance, and reliability challenges across a large Ruby on Rails application.
- Share technical expertise and influence engineering practices across teams.
Minimum Qualifications
- 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- 3+ years of experience with backend web technologies, preferably Ruby on Rails.
- 1+ years of experience building web UIs with React and Redux.
- Strong experience with relational databases, including PostgreSQL and query optimization.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ownership of projects from conception through production.
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Passion for solving open-ended problems and working effectively in a collaborative engineering environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building cloud-based applications and services.
- Experience developing Android applications.
- Knowledge of network protocols across local and wide-area networks.
- Interest or experience in Generative AI, Agentic AI, or intelligent automation.
- Experience contributing to large-scale Ruby on Rails applications.
