About this role
Position is responsible for performing all the duties of the assigned production area plus directing and coordinating activities of others within the area. Position is a hands on part of the team, occupying a direct labor position while assisting in the coordination of work flow, troubleshooting with operators and leading by example. Position coordinates area activities in the absence of the Supervisor.
Education:
High School Diploma or GED
Experience:
Cross Functional- Plastics Industry 3 years
Manufacturing- Colorant, Chemical, Micing, Blending, Extrusion 3 years
Cross Functional- Leadership Experience, Managing Direct Reports 3 years
Cross Functional- Problem Solving Techniques 3 years
Skills and Certifications:
Manufacturing/Maintenance- Fork Lift License
Software Skills- Microsoft Office, Word, Excel
