Social Media Lead

As Social Media Lead at FTMO, You own our social media presence and our community. You set the strategy for each platform, lead the people who run it day to day, and are accountable for engagement, traffic and a healthy, well-moderated community. Social supports product launches, events and sponsorship activations, so you work closely with Copy, CRM, SEO, Product and Compliance.

Platforms

Instagram, X, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, Reddit and our Discord community, plus new platforms as they earn their place.

What will you do?

- Set social strategy per platform, with a monthly plan tied to business goals.
- Lead the social team and the community team.
- Run organic social around product launches, events and sponsorship activations, using approved product messages from the Copy Lead.
- Lead community management: moderation, response standards, tone, social listening, and escalation to Ops and Compliance.
- Build our presence on Reddit, short-form video and new platforms, including TikTok.
- Oversee the Discord community, which Ops runs day to day: set standards and tone, and relay community feedback to Product and Support.
- Agree with Compliance what can be said, where and by whom, for regulated products.
- Decide where creators, influencers and agencies fit within regulatory limits.
- Work with SEO, CRM and Copy so social supports traffic and lifecycle goals.
- Hire and develop the team.
- Report monthly on business impact, not activity.

What do you bring to the table?

- Experience leading social media and community management for a consumer or financial brand, with measured results.
- Experience using AI to create and analyze content
- Hands-on knowledge of the platforms above, including Reddit and short-form video, and experience with online communities.
- Good judgement on risk: you know when a post needs review and when a community issue needs escalating.
- Experience managing a team across regions and time zones.
- Strong editorial sense and a clear brand voice.
- Experience working with compliance in a regulated environment.
- Clear writing in English; additional languages are a plus.
