About this role
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or GED
- Minimum 3-5 years quality experience in a manufacturing environment.
- This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
- Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
- Physical Demands: This is primarily a warehouse environment position. Sitting, Standing and possibly heavy lifting (up to 100 lbs.) may be required. Temperature conditions will vary with the outside environment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 4 or more years’ Experience in metals manufacturing
- Excellent Communication and Presentation skills (written, verbal and non- verbal), ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.
- Must work well in a team environment and commit to continuous improvement.
- Must be able to obtain an in-house mobile equipment certification, including use of forklift and boom lift
- Basic metal fabrication skills; use of power tools, cutting torch, stick welder, saws, and knee mill.
