Production Artist

Arrow International is seeking a detail-oriented and adaptable Production Artist to support our growing charitable gaming business.

This is a production-focused role, not a traditional creative design position. The primary responsibility will be revising and formatting existing pull tab games to meet print production and manufacturing requirements. This includes adjusting layouts, typography, payout information, and preparing accurate, production-ready artwork.

We're looking for someone who is curious, flexible, and comfortable in an environment where projects and priorities can shift daily. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a willingness to learn are important for success in this role.

This position is on-site Monday through Friday at our headquarters in Brooklyn, Ohio.

Primary Responsibilities

- Revise and format existing pull tab game artwork to meet manufacturing specifications and print production requirements.
- Resize and adjust pull tab tickets, seals, and flares to accommodate automated packaging lines and other manufacturing needs.
- Modify existing game templates to incorporate spacing adjustments, payout information, and other required updates.
- Prepare accurate, production-ready artwork and files for pre-press and manufacturing, including appropriate file formats and specifications.
- Collaborate with Creative, Ticket Marketing, Technical, and Manufacturing to ensure artwork meets product specifications and production requirements.
- Prepare artwork and supporting documentation for state gaming submissions and regulatory approvals.
- Review and proofread artwork, including peer reviews, to ensure accuracy before files are released to manufacturing.
- Troubleshoot artwork, formatting, and production-related issues, making necessary revisions to support manufacturing operations.
- Manage a high volume of projects while remaining flexible as deadlines, priorities, and production needs shift.
- Maintain organized artwork files, templates, and documentation while supporting improvements to production workflows and shared file management.

Requirements

- 4–6 years of experience in production art, commercial printing, pre-press, or a related field preferred.
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in graphic design, Print Production, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator and InDesign.
- Experience preparing and modifying artwork for commercial printing or manufacturing.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
- Curious, adaptable, and comfortable with shifting priorities and changing project requirements.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate across multiple departments.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills with a willingness to learn and accept feedback.
- Experience with Mac OS, font management software, and Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of Adobe scripting or workflow automation is a plus.
