Position Overview
We are seeking an E-commerce Engagement Associate to support merchant relationships, address operational challenges, and improve the overall merchant experience. This role involves regular communication with business partners, coordinating with internal teams to resolve issues, and identifying opportunities to enhance processes, tools, and operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate has experience in e-commerce, account management, customer success, or merchant operations and is comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced business environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Merchant Relationship Management: Maintain consistent communication with assigned merchants through email, phone, and other approved channels. Share relevant platform updates, policy changes, and available resources while gathering feedback and business needs.
- Issue Resolution and Coordination: Identify and track merchant concerns, including policy-related questions, compliance issues, and operational process gaps. Partner with internal teams to investigate challenges, determine appropriate solutions, and ensure timely follow-up.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, business operations, and governance teams to communicate merchant feedback, resolve recurring issues, and improve operational workflows.
- Process Improvement: Document and analyze trends in merchant feedback, product-related concerns, and operational challenges. Consolidate findings and collaborate with stakeholders to recommend and implement improvements.
- Account and Project Coordination: Manage ongoing merchant engagements, monitor open action items, and prioritize competing requests to support a smooth and effective merchant experience.

Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in e-commerce, internet-based businesses, merchant operations, customer success, account management, or a similar client-facing function.
- Bachelor's degree or higher.
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Basic data analysis capabilities and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with business systems and SQL-based data tools used for querying or reviewing information; coding experience is not required.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting merchant growth, sales performance, or revenue-generating initiatives.
- Ability to identify operational trends, communicate actionable insights, and contribute to process improvements.
- Experience working with product, operations, and business stakeholders in a high-volume environment.
