At 7 17 Credit Union, our mission is simple: We help people improve their lives financially and support the communities we serve. We are looking for an experienced, service-focused leader to join our team as an Assistant Branch Manager. In this role, you'll help lead branch operations, coach employees, build member relationships, and contribute to the growth and success of the branch.
What You'll Do
- Assist the Branch Manager with leading, coaching, training, and developing branch employees.
- Foster a strong member service and sales culture through employee development and performance support.
- Deliver exceptional service while assisting members with:
Deposit accounts
- Consumer lending
- Online and mobile banking support
- Account maintenance and servicing
- Other financial products and services
- Resolve member concerns professionally and efficiently.
- Support branch growth initiatives and business development efforts.
- Assist with branch cash management, audits, security procedures, and operational compliance.
- Help conduct employee coaching, observations, and performance reviews.
Qualifications
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of 3 years of credit union or related financial institution experience .
- Prior supervisory, leadership, or employee coaching experience preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
- Strong customer service, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to build relationships with members and employees while maintaining a positive, team-oriented environment.
- Ability to travel to branch locations throughout Trumbull, Mahoning, Portage, and Summit Counties as needed.

Work Location
This is an on-site position and may require travel to multiple branch locations as business needs dictate.
