About this role
We currently have an opportunity for a Security Manager. Join our Facilities Management team and play a key role in leading security assurance, governance and operational readiness across the Stockland portfolio. - Oversee guard licensing, competency, training, inductions, site accreditations, compliance audits and corrective actions.
- Provide expert advice on manned guarding, concierge services, crowd management, access control, CCTV and incident response.
- Lead or support responses to serious security and public safety incidents, including reporting, escalation, root-cause analysis and corrective action.
- Support contract mobilisations, site transitions and new asset onboarding while improving service quality, consistency, technology use and cost effectiveness.
- Regularly travel across the Stockland portfolio, with after-hours availability for critical incidents.
What You’ll Bring
- Proven security operations experience within retail, shopping centres, public-facing environments or large multi-site portfolios.
- A current NSW Security License and the ability to obtain and maintain required security clearances.
- Strong knowledge of retail security risks, crowd dynamics, incident management, de-escalation, compliance and audit requirements.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, influencing and client advisory capabilities.
- A Certificate IV or Diploma in Security Risk Management or equivalent is desirable. Experience working with blue-chip property or asset owners will also be highly regarded.
More than anything, you’ll bring a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes for our clients.
