Python Developer

About the Role

We are looking for a Python Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable backend applications and integrations for our clients across industries. You will work in agile project teams, collaborate with clients and cross-functional colleagues, and own features from design through deployment.
Key Responsibilities

- Develop clean, efficient, and testable Python code for web applications, APIs, and automation solutions
- Build and consume RESTful APIs using Django, Flask, or FastAPI
- Design and optimize database schemas and queries (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB)
- Integrate third-party services, payment gateways, and internal systems
- Write unit and integration tests, and take part in code reviews
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues promptly
- Collaborate with front-end developers, QA, DevOps, and business analysts
- Document technical designs, APIs, and deployment procedures
- Contribute to estimation, sprint planning, and client status updates

### Requirements
Required Skills and Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
- 2+ years of hands-on professional experience in Python development
- Strong grasp of Python fundamentals, OOP, data structures, and algorithms
- Experience with at least one framework: Django, Flask, or FastAPI
- Working knowledge of SQL and ORMs (Django ORM, SQLAlchemy)
- Experience building and consuming REST APIs (JSON, authentication, versioning)
- Proficiency with Git and collaborative workflows (branching, pull requests)
- Familiarity with Linux and the command line
- Good problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
