Associate Construction Director - MEP

Responsible for supervising the construction delivery on projects to the agreed outcomes for time, budget, safety and quality requirements.

Directing the delivery of a high-quality, time-efficient and profitable service delivery. Providing leadership and is accountable for compliance, governance, assurance as well as the management of teams of construction staff. The building and retention of relationships with colleagues and stakeholders is fundamental to the success of the role.

You’ll be responsible for:

- Ensuring MEP delivery complies with Mace standards.
- Managing programme, safety, quality and commissioning activities.
- Building strong relationships with clients, consultants and contractors.
- Implementing delivery, commissioning and strategic project plans.
- Monitoring productivity, milestones, interfaces and critical risks.
- Driving quality assurance, close-out and continuous improvement.
- Identifying risks and implementing effective mitigation plans.
- Supporting net-zero carbon delivery and emissions reduction.

You’ll need to have:

- Trade/technical engineering apprenticeship or graduate development programme (or equivalent).
- Formal engineering or construction training (HNC. HND, BTEC or equivalent).
- SMSTS and CSCS card.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree and (or vocational equivalent).
