About Salesforce

Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn’t a buzzword — it’s a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.

Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You’re in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.

Client Director – Tier 1 Bank

Our team sells the full Salesforce product portfolio to Tier 1 banking customers, partnering with some of the world’s most strategic and highly regulated financial institutions.

As a Client Director at Salesforce, you will own the end-to-end relationship with your assigned account. You will sell the entire Salesforce Customer 360 platform, including Agentforce, Data Cloud and Financial Services Cloud. You will build trusted relationships with C-suite and senior business and technology leaders across the bank's business lines, helping them realise measurable value from their Salesforce investment.

What You'll Actually Be Doing

- Act as the executive owner of the Salesforce relationship, building and maintaining senior relationships across the bank's business lines, technology, data, risk and procurement functions
- Own and deliver a multi-year strategic account plan that grows Annual Contract Value (ACV) through expansion, upsell, cross-sell and new business within the account
- Map the organisation in depth, including stakeholders, budgets, buying centres and whitespace across divisions
- Lead complex, multi-threaded sales cycles in parallel. Orchestrate Sales Engineers, Industry Advisors, Professional Services, Customer Success, Executives and Partners as one account team
- Position Salesforce as a strategic partner in the bank's digital, data and AI transformation agenda, connecting our solutions to measurable outcomes such as customer experience, operational efficiency, growth and risk
- Navigate the bank's regulatory, security, governance and procurement processes, and build the business case for large, multi-year investments
- Work with the bank's System Integrators and strategic partners to extend reach and ensure customer success
- Partner with Customer Success to drive adoption, renewals and advocacy

You're Our Person If You Have...

- A proven track record of quota-carrying, enterprise technology direct sales, ideally as a Client Director, Strategic AE or equivalent, with experience of single-account or named-account ownership
- Experience managing long, complex sales cycles with large deal values and many senior stakeholders
- Success developing and executing strategic account plans that retain and grow ACV
- The ability to navigate large, matrixed organisations and build influence across multiple divisions
- The ability to run discovery with senior leaders and turn it into compelling use cases and value hypotheses
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills, with the credibility to engage at C-suite level
- Experience leading large virtual account teams across internal and external stakeholders

Even Better If You Have...

- Experience selling into Tier 1 banks or global financial institutions
- A strong understanding of the banking landscape, including regulation, core banking modernisation, data and AI adoption, and digital customer engagement
- Familiarity with enterprise sales methodologies, such as MEDDICC, and with building strategic alliances
- A history of consistently achieving or exceeding quota on a large, strategic account
- An existing network of senior relationships within the bank or across UK/EMEA banking

Your experience will be evaluated based on alignment with core competencies for the role, including extracurricular leadership, military experience, and volunteer work.
