Work Environment This is a fully remote, first-shift position based near a major airport to facilitate frequent travel. Travel time is paid door-to-door, including mileage, drive time, flights, layovers, and related expenses, with all travel costs covered. You may use either a company-provided credit card or a personal card for expenses; any rewards or points earned from airlines, hotels, and rental cars remain yours for personal use. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday with flexibility in hours, and travel is primarily on weekdays. Overnight stays are standard during travel, with longer installations often requiring multiple weeks in the field, while shorter preventive maintenance trips may involve only a few days of travel in a given week. Over time, you will rotate into an on-call schedule and work occasional Saturdays and Sundays approximately every 89 weeks. Work is performed on a mix of individual and team-based assignments: you will initially work in a team environment until you are fully acclimated to the equipment, after which you will handle preventive maintenance and smaller jobs independently. The technical environment includes electromechanical equipment such as pneumatics, electric motors, steppers and drives, VFDs, positive drive gearing, and a variety of peripheral devices to PLCs including sensors, cameras, vision systems, pressure sensors, dimensioners, and fiber optics. You will also work extensively with ecommerce packaging equipment such as tapers, print-and-apply systems, bagging machines, printers, and conveyance systems. The culture emphasizes collaboration, with a robust team of experienced technicians who actively support new associates through coaching, knowledge sharing, and ongoing training to help them become proficient across the full equipment portfolio. Attire is typically practical and appropriate for industrial environments and customer-facing field service work.
